I live out in the sticks and mainly only drive country roads, tried a set of RS4 18's and only lasted a day with them! Ride was *****, bumpy and crashy, and it pulled all over the place under hard braking and acceleration. In all honesty I could drive much faster with the standard 16x8's and 225/50's than I could with the 18's 'cause I wasn't fighting the car all the time. I don't know how you can cope with the 19's on B-roads. Fine for all these guys that drive motorways and dual carriage ways but having tried them on the back roads, I'd say get yourself back to 16's or 17's and a tyre with a bit of sidewall to ease the pain!
