Thanks to S2AVANT ie Ben my car is back on the road with a nice smooth operating clutch ,ben supplied the master cylinder and it arrived in one day nice one .
Bit of a pig to fit mainly because theres not a lot of room under dash and engine bay
but managed to bleed it with easy bleed which you can find at all good motoring outlets!
if any one wants the method in fitting this pm me to avoid temper tantrums cheers.

          Master cylinder

Hi Andy, I believe my master has gone, already changed the slave and still no pedal and no fluid coming out of it when bled. Do you have the link to the guide you put together when you did yours?

          kind regards Simon

            Hey Andy,

Do you remember seeing my MC and bar at Combe last year? Did yours show similar wear patterns? I ask as I wonder if this is a weakness that should be investigated for a permanent solution, such as a stronger (Titanium or hardened steel?) rod

            Cheers n

I dont think the bar needs to be stronger as mine lasted 12yrs and 75k miles i think if it was lubricated occationaly this might help ,i do remember you from castle combe and your
dirty green s2 as to fitting its very awkward as you have to be under the dash upside down ,its also tight under the bonnet.pm me for my no if any one wants any advice ,
              i sound like a pro.
