3B Hose question

Hi,
just a general question about boost hose sets, I know this will be in the wrong section, but I thought to stick it in here.
I have leaks from the hose at the rear of the engine, by the bulkhead.... If I get a complete set of Samcos, is this one included in the set? it has a T in it, and goes to the NS of the engine, to what looks like a kind of dump valve (I know its not a DV, as that is somewhere, else, but generally looking)
The hose is approx an inch in diameter.
Which hoses come as part of the set? Just the MAF hose and surrounding area?

yes, I have found the thread with what is leaking.... seems it is almost the whole vacuum system round the back....

pressure regulating valve, with most of the pipes down there being no good.....
Is there a way of building this with Samco or similar?

Ah sorry. You're probably talking about the breather system. They're not included.

Thanks for that guys, yes it is the stuff round the back which you don't get with the Samco set...
Does anyone have any tips or ideas about replacing the rear hosing with better quality pipework?

The "Samco Set" is for the boost hoses which bring our nicely compressed air in to the engine. There is also a different Samco Coolant set which replaces all the water hoses for the cooling system. Hoses for the crankcase ventilation system which it sounds like you're having problems with are not included in either of those kits.

The most straightforward way is to buy the OE parts, or you can attempt to have a go at making up your own using various bits of Samco and custom-made t-pieces to connect the different sized hoses...

Dan, you have said, and I have seen mention by others too, if you buy the samco set to get some 8 mm hose too, any ideas what length is required, and also how many extra clips are required? Is it one length, ie 1 metre from the shop, and therefore only 2 more jubilee clips....?

Get a 1m length yes that should do for starters. You'll want more than just two clips though as you'll probably find you'll be finding lots of other 8mm hoses that need replacing.
