Hi, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with an
A8 quattro 4.2 petrol.
Just looking at options, encase i cant cope with a sports car suspension.
The other car i have looked into is the legacy B4 twin turbo saloon (1999)
a8 tina now you are talkin, dont go jap stick with the audi.and its a engine you can tinker with too,so ive heard plug the comp into it and some guys can reprograme it to change gear and rev like a s8.dont quote me
1990 100 2.2 10vqt 82k miles(now dead)
1990 90 2.3 20v 166k miles
1988 90 2.0 10v 181k miles
oh and a polo for work.
i had an a8 4.2 quattro sport recently, awesome car, best audi i have owned!only go for the sport model as it has the recaro seats,18in wheels and lowered suspension, very much a drivers car which will cruise all day at well over a ton, fairly economical too,ohh and the engine sounds good too
Im just looking at options. but this has 400nm torque. The m3 dont have that much.
Gotta check for comfort tho ........... meaning can i see over the steering wheel.
The fliud change on them sounds a bit
**garage meets**
Boy at my work owned a a8 has now moved on to a S8 both cars were very comfortable and quick would highly recomend one and they are bullet proof
The S8 was put on to the computer for a health check and not one fault was flagged up. Not bad for a car which is eight years old with 90.000 miles on it
