Well,Undeliverable - insufficient / incorrect address
They had my unit number, the industrial park name, the name of the road the industrial park is on, the name of the road that the road with the industrial park on it leads off from, the area, the city, the county and the b100dy postcode!!
The sellers packing note even states UNITED KINGDOM on it!!!
The industrial park has a 20 foot sign saying "Calibre Industrial Park" on it!
How the hell could he not find it!?!?!Comment

A**e hole Force we call them, isn't it great when you see the big red van sweep into the drive, run over the edge of the grass, driver jumps out stereo blaring, sticks the little white and red card on the door to say no one was in, reverses back over the flower bed and roars off scattering besatcheled school children and daffs in its wake.. yawn..Comment

Well its royal mail for me, they lost my 044 fuel pump over 2 months ago, then last month tried to say they didn't get my complaint + compensation forms, Fecking RUBBISH!!!
The best bit was they tried to make out it was the senders fault and responsibility for the parcel not getting to me, even tho they had it, actually came to my house to deliver it, left a slip because no one was in, then lost it somewhere in between my house an the town depo
Cheers,
Chris

dont even get me started on those muppets at the Royal Mail - one of their favorite tricks around here is not even bothering checking to see if anyone is actually in and just posting the card through the door.Haynes Manual:As described in Chapter 7...

The most annoying thing I find is when they give you about 5 seconds to answer the door... If they call at 9.30am chances are you're in work (Or away in Uni, and parents are in work) or you've got a day off from work coz ure ill or otherwise, and are still in bed (or if its anytime of the day when you're a student, you're probably in bed)!
And then you get one of those "Sorry you were out" come and collect your parcel in some industrial estate about 30min from your house! What ever happened to trying either of your neighbours... they used to do that all the time, and it was great coz both sides of me are retired couples! (In both Uni and at home actually!)...ever since I floored you I knew that I loved you!Comment

Re:- Karak
Sorry bud but thats a load of ballocks.
Im a postie myself, do you really think we want to stand there writing a docket out in the freezing cold rather than press a doorbell or knock on a door?.
Ive had people accuse me of the same even though ive been banging on their door and ringing the bell.
Ive then had to walk down their hill of a driveway, sit in my van for 2 minutes whilst filling the docket out with info, walk back up their driveway and post through the letterbox.
What do you think is easier for me - doing all that or knocking on the door?.....
Also the comment on the postie's knocking at 9.30 am when your all out at work, well if you know somethings coming and your going to be at work during the week then why get it delivered to your home address???
- do you really think we can be at everyones door at a specified time? - we cant be at everyones door at 8am you know...
Also if you dont want to go to collect then if you are able to read look on the reverse of the docket card and you can arrange redelivery - not a difficult concept to grasp really.

I'm not suggesting that all posties do it by any means - but the lazy b*gg*r around here certainly does, oh and no he doesnt stand out in the cold filling it in - he pre-fills it out and then just posts it through the door! And this isnt to my home address - this is to my work. I've been sat there next to the door in question when he has just shoved the docket through with the rest of the post!Originally posted by blown_vr6Re:- Karak
