The hardline fits onto the caliper, if you have the part numbers on them still, then the odd number is the passenger side and the even number the drivers side (UK car only). It is possible to place it through the bracket that bolts to the strut and then a slight tweak to connect it to the flexi.

ah ha.. i was connecting the flexi end to the calliper!

one thing i cant work out at the moment is why the flexi hose has an angled bit at one end?

at one end of the flexi hose, there is a 90 degree bend. is that right?

I originally made hardlines to replicate the RS2 items, but after a while decided they were a crap idea, so I went back to using two flexi lines.

@Rotoryboy - It looks like your dampers haven't been changed for a while.

No, that sounds like an RS2 rear hose.

Correct Martin! Spoke to corey, its OK there was a mix-up unfortunately, but tbh it might have worked out better. Really wasn't too keen in fitting that massive RS2 hardline to the car, just doesn't look right to me! Will get the other hose soon to replace the old S2 one. (might do the rears while im at it and get new disks and pads back there to try and claw back some of the brake bias!!!)
