I was there for that race, I was stood just behind the first camera position. British GT championship , Oulton park 2002. Started off as a nice sunny day then out of nowhere came the most sudden and torrential down pour I've ever known, I got soaked!! Oh and the crash was quite bad too
I was in the holding area sat my Caterham superlight waiting to be in the next race!
It pissed down flash flood tackle, went from a bit of a shower to biblical in one minute!
It took hours to sweep all the debris up, we only got three laps after they restarted racing.... but i did go from 10th to 6th!!!
paid £375 for three laps!! wonder why i'm still scint! thats racing!!!!
