PMSL, I think the Germans are trying to out do each other.. First the VW with the bugatti veyron and now Mercedes with the Maybach Exelero. Well over ratted and Ugly too IMO. Some nice stats though:

It's a very long car too, measuring almost 5.9 metres long, a good 70 centimetres longer than a Holden Statesman, and is 2140mm wide, which is quite chunky. It also has a large 110 litre fuel tank"

Saw this in the flesh at Autosport last year - and personally, I like it.

Rolling artwork not dissimilar to the one-off high value cars built by the big names in the unique car market. The details on this car are beautifully finished at a standard that most of us can only aspire to.

But no, I wouldn't swap it for my S2 - it's almost twice as heavy!!!

Well according to Classic Car mag this month one of the old pre war audi race cars is up for auction reckon on $11 million. amazing story that a guy found both cars in the soviet union who had found them hidden in a mine in germany, he got one out by loading it in a merc camper van

Its a basic copy of a old classic but i cant remember the name of the original, it was in "who framed framed roger rabbit" iirc

Also apeared in a classic car mag in oct or dec with a audi sport quattro on the front

Overall I think it is hidious. The roof line is the only redeeming feature.
And the bit where Sue tells us it was literally designed for the track... 2660kgs and a slush box, Yeah right.
I think those "Design Students" should finish their studies before they try that again.
