reservoir replacement

Fitted a new expansion tank to mine when i replaced my rad last week. Looks like it's the same price from Audi as it is from Vagparts.

I rang Martyn (I think it was him) at Vagparts and asked for an expansion tank for an S2. He asked out of curiosity why I was replacing the old one. When I told him that it was purely because the old one didn't look very nice he just started laughing really loud!
He's never known an S2 owner have to replace this part due to anything other than it not looking nice!!!

I know, but they are clean enough seeing as it's still winter, thats enough for me "for now"

I won't post a picture of my engine bay at the moment, what with no undertray or front rad.

I replaced my header tank when the bottom outlet started leaking and I lost most of my water, so it does happen sometimes, worth replacing at that price if its old IMO as the plastic does harden and crack and if it leaks from the bottom its not obvious.

I had no idea there were different types of antifreeze, I always thought the brown muck was rust
