Very funny and very stupid - great way to build American & UK relations - NOT !
There's an awful lot of people pack heat in their cars in that part of the world... That could easily have got nasty if the wrong guy turned up in a bad mood.

I'm fairly convinced that this was scripted, call it British scepticism if you want but it's just too stupid a thing to do! AND there was the "Oh, we'd better jump James' car" gag too.

I used to live in South Carolina so when i saw the three of them driving along the interstate with all those slogans I thought..... oh oh!
When they turned up at the gas station they could have easily have got shot, hillbillies are crazy folk!
It was funny and although I agree that James' caddy dying like it did seemed a little scripted I can still believe it!
If you go to the south, here are some tips....
You either love ford or chevrolet, nothing else,
You have at least one item of John Deere clothing (I managed to acquire loads)
Southerners are good people though, I had a brilliant time there!Comment
