Fracking vandals

I am really losing my will to continue living in London.
Got to my car yesterday to find a huge dent in the front wing/ bonnet, complete with the muddy sole-print of somebody's running shoe, and another muddy skid mark on the nose of the car (although no apparent dent).

Yes, some miserable scum-bag has decided to use my car's front as a sprint track.

Why?

This happened parked outside my own house, and of course only 3 months ago I had somebody scrape two body panels in a parking "incident" and just drive off without leaving any note.

So, having successfully avoided any body work damage on ANY car I have ever owned for the last 10 years, I have now got 4 dented panels on the newest and least-flash-looking car I've ever owned within 3 months.



I'm really fracking upset. I'm going to have to dip into my own pocket to get this lot straightened up, which is money I can ill afford to spend at the moment. I'm not sure I should go the insurance route?

Anyone recommend any good bodyshops in West London?

thats an f'ing disgrace, feel for you. There is an independent body place outside reading that is audi approved so might do a decent match paint wise and quality should be ok enough to have been verified by VAG.

If you want i'll bung the radio on and wait for the advert as its only every 5 mins

Jeez thats rough... I feel for you, as people here dont care at all, parking dents down both sides of mine, all from outside my apartment... Not so malicious as yours though.....
Sorry to hear, but what the hell can you do? I have a friend who unforunatekly lives on a road which is used as a route home from the pub on Friday and Saturday nights, he has an old camper, which was keyed all down one side last week, and has had a rear windscreen broken in the last month.... It is even parked on his drive .....
Hope you can get it sorted nicely for not too much cash, and more importantly I hpe they leave it alone.....

I feel for you mate.

In my 10 months with the S4 I've had someone celebrate New Year by running over the top of my car, and some other numpty key a 3 foot long scratch into the o/s rear door and and wing. Not too bad considering the area of Manchester I live in, but still not nice.

Mind you, judging by the look of the muddy footprints marks on the car on New Year's Day it did look like he/she slid off and fell on his/her **** though, which is a small consolation for the dent in the bonnet and scratched paint.

Bad luck Dan, I know what it's like. I've had footprints on the bonnet and roof of both my cars on a number of occassions. One vehicle was keyed all over the bonnet and another has scratches from the idiots that used it as a leg up to get over my garage wall. I wish I could find them and provide my own form of retribution

right there with you mate. some *****er thumped my bonnet with a bottle or something a while back and left a dent that I have't had the cash to fix yet. Happens now and again round my way. I've been considering borrowing my dad's compound bow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compound_bow) and carbon fibre arrows to have myself an evening or two sat in the dark outside my house. but knowing today's modern policing if someone damaged my car and I shot them through the forehead with an arrow, who'd be the bad guy eh? yep. me. what's the world coming to, I ask ya?
