3B advice needed. Help!!!

Hi all.

I am doing a 3B engine swap on my US spec Coupe Quattro.

I can't seem to get my fuel pump to start when I turn the key. The car cranks over fine.


I noticed when I do turn the key I hear a faint click in my ECU, the aux. water pump for the turbo comes on for a moment and stops.

I hear very faint sounds from the fuel pump attempting to run ONLY when I manuelly push down on the fuel pump relay contacts. I took the cover off of it. Nothing else happens on the car.

I hot-wired my pump and it runs fine.

How can I check voltage at the relay contact points in the fuse box?

have you checked the fuel pump relay is working?

Check the wire from the ecu pin nr. 3 till pin S at the B blak plug from main fuse box.
I have done the same swap.Hope that helps.
