You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
NOPE - to be an official motor club you gotta be registered with RAC (and the MSA arm if wanting to organise any events using public roads - even 'treasure hunts').
There has been some interest in doing this but there's not a lot of benefit IMO - we would have to become much more official/organised, get PLI cover and assorted admin & redtape for very little gain.
Could anyone tell me if s2 forum is a motor owners club?
When I took insurance with Adrian Flux they asked me if I was a member of any owners club and I said yes but now they want a proof.

I'm insured through Adrian Flux and have owners club discount on both of my cars, even though they are only forums that I am a member of. I didn't have to show any evidence of this to them, but when I first started insuring my car through them (a gti-6) they did ask for proof of O.C. membership in the first year, but haven't since. So it'll just be a one off thing probably. When I last phoned up to insure a car I mentioned that I was in an owners club (this forum) and the lady said that I was already marked as an owners club member.
