Has anyone managed to register for a ticket yet. The site is completely hosed out - BBC reported hits as fast as 80k per minute ! Bonkers. I'll never be lucky enough - but it must be worth a try. They are the only band left for me to see.
Good luck with getting one not sure what music by them i've heard, at a stretch might be lucky to get one of ebay if you are that desperate for one. I've done it before for some concerts.
Managed to register for tickets...But seen the bill and Paulo Nutini is supporting. He's a mate of one of the guys in work, so he's gonna try and score some tickets that way if the ballot does not come through. Sweet.
WTF is Paulo Nutini? No disrespect - never erd of him. Strange lineup actually, but its only the headliners that I'm interested in. Mr Townsend doesn't really do it for me as a solo act. Well done for getting in the ballot though - seems to be quite an achievement.

Paulo Nutini is a Scottish kind of rock/indie solo artist...Some of his stuff is quite good, but not my cup of tea... Yeah heard loads of people cant get on to register, guess I was just lucky..Now to try and be really lucky and get accepted to buy tickets.
Seems weird these days how many things that you have to be accepted to buy something or given authorisation to buy, rather than a good old fashioned free for all.
Either that or Led Zep are all corporate now, and they are collecting all of the milions of e-mail addresses and personal details and selling them to marketing companies...We all might start getting phoone calls from companies to start selling led zep commemorative plates
Saw them at Live aid in '85 , didn't know about this till it was too late gutted-cool that Bonhams son is drumming.
At least they found a use for that billion pound dome!!!
@Newsh - I tried to ignore that - isn't amazing what some kids have missed out on - heheh.
Good news is the web site was actually alive this morning and I got four unique requests into the raffle with some creative use of various phone number, address and email combos. I never win anything - but I do hope for that phone call saying - your name has been picked, give us £125 and your in !
Lmao I probably have heard there music is what I was trying to say but I don't normally get to know the names of the tracks i've just got so much old and new music that I don't really get a chance to go thru it and since moving its even worse.
You poor child, you need to educate yourself: http://www.led-zeppelin.org/multimed...m=concertclips
Communication breakdown, Rock and Roll, Over the hills and far away, Kashmir, Whole lotta love and you may have heard of Stairway to Heaven??
Now go and stand in the corner and think about what you've done!!!!
ahahah - but what is your fave zep song of all time ?
I find that really tricky to answer - sometimes I'll go for Black Dog, sometimes ICQYB (the version on Coda is spine tinglingly good) or sometimes its Going To California or other times I just think Houses of the Holy is the best thing ever - the whole album I mean.
Talking of kids - Had my 5yr old lad singing along to the Black Crowes in the S2 last week - I believe its time for a lil taste of Zeppelin to set the boy up for life. He loves AC/DC already - oh and Queen and the Chili Peppers. Now there's an education for you. No doubt he'll pay me back in later life when he declares an undying interest in country music , or gangsta-rap or some other nonsense and that I was wrong all those years to force my musical taste on the boy. Oh well - best enjoy it now.
