Hahah - the Black Crowes have some bad tunes for sure - but the Southern Musical Companion album (or thereabouts) is an absolute belter. Allegedly recorded live in the studio with the absolute minimum of cuts, tweaks and dubs - so the legend goes anyway.

Kings X, Vanden Plas and Queensryche (especially Mindcrime era) rank among other favourite bands for me - I'm odd that way - but the wee lad isn't quite ready for that stuff yet

1994 S2 Coupe ABY - aka Project Lazarus
      2001 A6 allroad 2.5TDi - family tank
      2003 S4 Avant 4.2 V8 - daily burble

Purveyor of HomeFries and Exclusive agent for Samco hose kits (S2/RS2)

There is no accounting for taste... But anyway - the proper rockers on here will stand by my side, with volume knobs turned to 11, fists clenched in the air in agreement with me. hahahahaha

What floats your boat then in the music dept ?

I hear you with regard Zep......but I'm afraid my taste isn't much better!!!...but I like it

...let me see.....how far back shall I go?.....

I do like a variety.....I will say they do tend to be 'small' bands....generally...

this week I arrr mostly been listening to....

new record records from the Kings of Leons....Interpol....Black Rebel Motorcycle Club....Unkle.........I'm trying to think of some more....there maybe a list coming....

            aaarrghhh my brain has stopped.....

Lol I have heard some of them songs you listed, I just tend to go thru my music and have different tastes at different times currently its on jungle/drum & bass but was recently on hard rock and *some* rap.

I listen to all sorts of artists:

                Currently listening to:

                Ludacris
                Dire straights
Dr Vibes and the house of wax equations (try finding that at hmv )
                The prodigy and underworld
                Queens of the stoneage
                Leftfield

I do like all sorts of music but just lately it has had to have a good beat to it.

Btw worst group to reform..... spice girls anyone?

                  Personal taste of course:
                  Top 5 Fav albums:
                  AC/DC-Back in Black
                  Led Zep-Houses of the holy
                  Pink Floyd-Wish you were here

I would do but currently have too many albums to list, five i've listened to recently in the car:

Prodigy - Fat of the land
                    Hardknox - Hardknox
                    Ludacris - Word Of Mouth
Dire Straights - Brothers In Arms
                    Nicky Blackmarket presents.

                    And various Mp3 cd's

Its annoying as all my music currently is a)on my old pc which is packed up b) on cd's which are in storage.

Led Zeppelin have have no equal in rock. Favourite track changes but Dazed & Confused live 1973 to 1975 takes some beating. On their night nobody could live with them live.
Paul, why not get hold of Page & Black Crowes live. To kill two birds with one stone !
If anyone is in need of some lossless live Zeppelin PM me...I have the lot ! well about 500 GB
