not very far in the S2 in the last 2 months : : am sloping about in a 306 1.6 that responds better to a tailwind than any fuel additives Is it just a rebrand on the Optimax stuff or a new blend (nescafe moment...richer, smoother )

I have a tescos about a mile away so only use Shell if i'm low and can't find one...

Tesco's were the 1st to do 99 ron, except it was only available down south. Then Shell made V-Power global

At last they have upgraded from 97 to 99.. A bit behind the rest of the country though!!
