Who's owned an S2 longest - and who bought one new?
Well I bought my S2 ABY 18 months ago... I HOPE to keep it for years and years as I love the car (and for the money it's the best looking, highest quality, fastest car I can afford).
BUT I wonder who's had the SAME Audi S-car longest... and if anyone on the S2Forum actually had one from new ... and maybe still has the same car?
Well I'm 7yrs 3 months with mine and driven 105k miles in it on top of the 75k it had when i orginally purchsed the car. Back then was the only pearlescent white one i had ever seen in 4 months of looking, the rest were emerald green and 1 red.
Cost £10k on the nose in July 2000.
coming up for 2 years. Paid 5k for it with 119k on the clock. i have spent £1187 on parts and £325 on getting it serviced at audi Norwich. Im planning on keeping it for a very long time!

I've not had mine long, but I've met a local man who has. He's not online here much, but DevonGeoff has owned at least one S2 Avant since they went on sale in 1993, so that's ~14 years by my reckoning.
Actually, No... I'm sure that I'll regret posting that.
All its had is oil & filter changes, 1 new set of sparkplugs and an aux radiator which sprung a leak on the driveway (jammy git). I've done the rear brake upgrade as the originals were shagged out and I've eaten thru one or two sets of brake pads at the front. That is all I have needed to spend... plus tyres and petrol like. Only additional items were Samcos all round and a HID upgrade (which I won). Oh I had to swap the MAF for a spare - forgot that.
In truth I am overdue the next big service - for its 3rd timing belt and associated paraphinalia, plus dem coilpacks need changed, plus lambda, fuel pump & filter.
My bushes and top mounts are technically OK but could do with a refresh alright.
Oh and I need to fix the cluster seals - see what you started and made me think about
Oh yeah the front brakes need upgrading too as the discs are shagged out - dangit.
