Still havnt pulled any codes as yet !
My mechanic took apart that thing that the accelerater cable is attached to on the side of the inlet mani (sorry cannot be more specific
) gave it all a good clean on the butterfly's as it was a bit cacked up and she was all good to go !
Happy chappy today as my mate who I bought the car off found 3 more original keys inc the original plastic tag with the numbers to re-order

Yes its the throttle body. You definatly need to do a throttle body alignment tba to get the best from the engine though.
All the crap about disconnecting battery is exactly that. Takes seconds with vcdsComment
