b5 s4 400 bhp

k04s rs4 injectors and rs4 maf / airbox down pipes 76mm miltek or i fitted 80mm had made by exhaust specialist remove pre cats and a good map mrc ect. i ran without rs4 injectors and maf and max 385bhp starts running lean after that

There are two high powered S4s from central scotland one running 550bhp and the other 650bhp if i remember right. The 550 is a dark blue b5 saloon and the other is a red b5 avant. Both MRC tuned. The guy with the blue one in on scotvag forum if you want someone local to pick their brain.

Well I'm on a stage 3 spree and it is as follows:

Wagner Exhaust manifolds

Wagner 3" downpipes
Jetex 2.5"" cat back exhaust system
K04's turbos
034MS 89mm MAF housing with adaptor and OEM RS4 hose -
DW300 fuel pump -
Bosch EV 550cc injectors for the electrical adaptors.
Forge Motorsport silicone hose
034MS throttle body hose - The forge wont fit under the stock cover.
RS4 intakes pipes
RS4 Clutch
Remap

I can dig out what I have paid so far for the parts, but a ball park figure is close to 6.000 euro.

But ok I may have gone overboard with all the wagner parts

Have you had a browse on audisrs? There is tons of B5 info on there, and quite a lot of stuff for sale if you are looking for prices to build it second hand.

s4 tuning

cosworth ported heads and cams on rs4 so car produces less torque than a tuned s4
. i have had both s4 first running 358bhp loads of torque didnt need to rev above 5500 rpm for max power were as my rs4 stg 2 mrc 460bhp would rev 7000rpm and felt better to drive . if i were you i would look for a rs4 engine complete with ecu . better base engine to start with and easily tuneable to 500bhp. after that bigger turbos needed
