Thanks mate! I´m not tuning this thing for now no. It already has been chipped and it has sport cats fitted. Should have around 520hp and 800Nm if i´m right.

The parts for the gearbox was around €475 for the overhaul set and frictions. And around €100 for the oil.

No i dont really like a RS4 as much as a RS6. A rs4 is nice but the V6 is just not special enough to my. I prefer the 4.2 V8 twin-turbo

If you have the ability and the budget why not.

What about the idea of now being the ideal time to change the RS6 over to a manual gearbox, and sell the newly refurbished gearbox to someone whose just broken theirs ?

Or even better, fit a strong enough DSG type gearbox to the car ?

I think a automatic suits the rs6 well. Fitting a better automatic box would be nice yes but i don't think it will fit. I always wondered why the fit the 5hp24 box and not the stronger 5hp30 box but i think the 5hp30 just don't fit.

I also received 2 new stock size CHRA's for the turbo's

I never drove a automatic transmission in Europe, how does feel? Pulls hard to rpm limiter and shifts up or down quicker than the humans with manual box?
