Understatement of the week there. See pics below showing right side aux rad deletion with a few notes.

    1. The two hoses will join with a 20mm right angle connector in place of the deleted rad - I have a temporary connector there for now in homage to "team bodge"

    2. The aux rad has the mounting points for the air duct so I had to whip out the drill and some tywraps for another bodge but in truth they are strong enough and super light

    3. The added link hose, covered in foil tape in homage to the bacofoil express, is actually a cutoff from a Samco s2 water hose needed for an aux rad connection. Some irony there !

    4. I need to source some suitable duct and such to fabricate some kind of cold air scoop. I will probably source an another airbox for that. 100mm intake should be viable with some form of grid to stop leaves and small animals getting sucked into the airbox

Aux rad is in series then, not in parallel like the S2?

Water enters that rad via a thermal valve and y-piece so it is switched parallel really. Where I have the 90 connector essentially adds zero cooling capacity all the time.

I need to mark up a pic of the aux rad and pipe work to explain better - at least explain my reasoning.

The left aux rad doesn't have a thermal valve as far as I could see - there is a 1-way valve involved on that one for reasons I can't remember.

Back on the road again. Leak free except for stupid washer bottle - must have nipped an o-ring on the QR pipe but such is life.

Always thought the S2 was challenging at time to work on, but its nothing compared to the modern day equivalents. Nice work
