90q Type 89 RS For Sale

    Hi All

It is with major regret that I have to sell my project... My first child and new commitments mean I no longer have the time or funds to fully complete the car...

    Here's the spec:

    90 20v quattro sport MY91
Porsche 996 calipers & 323 discs stainless braided hoses
Fully adjustable coilover suspension with brand new Koni adjustable shocks
    Alloy bushes & sub mounts
034 track density engine and transmision mounts
    5stud hub conversion with 17" S4 Avus
Choice of S2 or V6 front bumper
    S2 Avant rear bumper
    B4 Front wings

ABY engine fully stripped and rebuilt
    7a Ex Cam
    Supertec Nitrided exhaust valves
    Scat Rods
    RS2 hardened main bearings
Lightened and balanced Crank (Basset Down Balancing)
    Clutchnet clutch
    Fidanza lightweight Flywheel
Stainless exhaust manifold - Ceramic coated
    Garrett GT3071r Turbo
Full turbo back 3" Stainless exhaust - Prospeed
    Wagner reverse inlet manifold
Large Alloy Intercooler with S2Bo IC bracket
    Forge BOV
    Mocal 13row oil cooler
Braided oil lines - all bespoke with speedflow fittings
    Samco Boost and water hoses
Brand new OEM water and oil pumps
Powder coated cam and coil cover
All Brackets and oil pan powder coated

    P1030261.jpg
    PB250133.jpg
    PC160143.jpg

A huge amount of work has gone into this project which is about 95% complete. It needs the bumpers and body panels fitting, the throttle cable extending and the ignition amplifier swapping to get her started.
The engine is effectively brand new and has't even been run in yet. It really pains me to have to sell it at this stage considering the time and money i've invested in it but needs must.... This is a totally unique car which has had all the expensive and hard work completed to a very high standard.
The price as it stands is £5995. I will consider sensible offers but won't sell for silly money. Please PM me if you're interested. Car can be viewed in Bristol after ADi.

    Cheers - Russ

Hi Russ, shame that you're having to sell but sounds like more important things have cropped up.

I've known Russ and this car for some time (he's a local boy to me), he's spent a fortune on it and it's a truly special car. Someone will be getting a bargain here for sure!

Good luck with the sale mate.

In response to those who contacted me, I would rather sell the engine etc attached to the car as I don't have the time, space or funds to remove it and sell separately... sorry. New price £5495 ono.

Just wondering if anyone's interested in buying the 90. I bought it off russ with the intention of completing it but it has been in my garage for a year, family commitments have seen to that. I just want what i paid for it which is still a bargain considering the spec. £5500

I'm just wondering about the 996 brakes, and the 5stud hub conversion......I hope you can help.

What parts did you use for the 5 stud hub conversion?
What happens regarding offsets for wheels?

Which parts did you need to fit the 996 brakes?
Whats the minimum size wheels that can be fitted to the car?

                            Thanks,
                            Leigh

16 inch rims (tho you can get them under 15's if you machine the discs)
coupe hubs are what you need from an s2.
offset for wheels should stay the same.

                              callipers
                              discs (314 for 16's 323's for bigger)
                              rs2/seat caliper brackets
                              braided lines
