thanks acidburn, thanks for all your feedback, any veiwings welcome, the car is still available. I know its not everyones cuppa tea but thats what makes everones car individual. I will move on price but very near offer, I cant come to adding the recipts together cheers dan
I think you have done a super job. The wheels do suit the car - not seen many like this. Very very rare and deserves the money you're asking!. The Grill, mirrors and the hiding of the side repeaters set the car off a treat. Nice touch. You said the car has FSH, is this all Audi? Best of luck with the sale. Edox

on the outset this car may seem expensive, however, if it's as good as it looks then it's worth the money...
you could pay £4000 for a relatively nice condition, late S2 coupe. By the time you've fitted all the modifications this car has, you'll be looking at 8 grand.
And by looking at the body work on this example, it's certainly better than you're average 4 grand car.
I bought my first S2 coupe for £4500... within 1000 (one thousand) miles I'd spend £2000 repairing the car. Just about everything possible went wrong with it before I lost faith and broke the car for bits. This means it owed me £6500.
The body work was bad, it had rust, dents, and sratches. Oh and on top of that, it was completely standard with no modifications whatsoever; no coilover suspension, no porsche brakes, nothing.
If I had stuck with the car, had it fully re-spayed and fitted the same modifications to make it as good as this car, it would have owed me over 10k
If I'd have bought this car (had it been available at the time) from day 1, I'd be a very happy guy.
twentyvalve's post is oh so true about S2 purchasing... you might be lucky with a cheap one... but if you find a properly tidy one then it can command a higher price - especially bodywork alone which can be 1500-2500 to take from tatty to yummy !
I bought my S2 recently for £6K. Standard apart from RS4 with AUDI FSH, just over 60,000 miles in Laser Red. One of the very last in 1995 to be made(although 96' registered).
Paintwork was absolutely immaculate(bonnet was a respray and front & rear bumpers were splashed all red) - with this in mind and the obvious care taken by the then and previous owners it was an opportunity not to miss!
It's now garaged by myself and will only be used during the Summer. I'm quite happy to sit on it for 10 years and see how the market goes. If UR quat's are anything to go by, I reckon appreciation not depreciation will be the case. Time will tell!!!
Mods have to be given consideration if tastefully done and backed up by receipts, warranties etc.
