If only it had the steeringwheel on the side

this is one of the last proper Audi's with class! looks very nice!

An S8 like that would be 11K+ in euro's over here at least. especially since it one of the last D2's.

      Why are you selling?

      "02 Audi A8 6.0L W12 Quattro
      "01 Audi A8L 6.0L W12 Quattro

Running costs mainly. Spending ~£400 a month on fuel due to the amount of miles I'm now doing

I love these... that one looks great... if it was black or blue then it would be absolutely perfect, but it looks minty regardless.

I missed out (translates to couldnt afford it guv) on a local blue one - bit older for even less money - but they make me feel all warm inside. Running costs would be lethal unless you did very small mileage (as I do).

Fantastic car, the S8. I really miss mine sometimes.

I actually found running costs very similar to an S2, but obviously you don't really need to muck about tweeking an S8 much. Just enjoy driving it.

They really are great VFM. You get a whole lot of car for your money.

Good luck with the sale, Mike.

This S8 is surely ripe for an LPG conversion??

Having driver neither an S8 or M5. Can anyone compare these two, for living with, running costs etc?

Can't speak for the M5, but in the S8, a tank is roughly £98 to fill up now. That will cover 360-400 miles depending on how it's driven.

With the exception of the new brakes, I haven't had any other maintenance costs in the 15 months I've had it.

Driven neither but I would say m5 would be as thirsty if not more(v8 version) the m5 I would say is more sporty but the s8 is pure luxury with added speed.
I've seen this car and it's stunning to look at and for the price is a bargain! The wheels were more than that on the new option list (I'm sure they were 7200!) Good luck with the sale mike

absolutely gorgeous...if i had the cash i'd be knocking on the door, not least as our a6 appears to have a blown head gasket (again)

                          Good luck with the sale.
