Sadly, I've got to update this thread.
Just a few days ago my girlfriend talked me in to keeping it but unfortunately I just can't afford to run 3 fast cars. I'm absolutely gutted about this but it's time for me to let the car go to a new owner who can enjoy it as much as I have over the past 5 years.
I really does feel as though I'm losing one of the family.

Try a bit of wd40 in the rear wiper stalk....mine was the same as yours when i bought it, quick spray has been fine for the last 11years!sigpic

A friend of mine who has always had a bit of a soft spot for the car came to see the S2 this afternoon . He really liked it BUT he didn't fit! He's 6ft6 and is pretty big framed but sadly just couldn't seat himself comfortably.
He looked absolutely gutted and I was too really as I know the car would have been going to a good home.

I had a pleasant chap come to see the car this afternoon and he left me with a deposit in view of picking it up in the week.
He is a car enthusiast and he really did seem thrilled to bits with the condition of the S2 so for that reason I am happy but just gutted it has to go...
It's sounds stupid but selling this car is really depressing. I genuinely love it.
