    FS: 380PS 572NM MRC Tuned S4

I bought his back with the view of doing it up and either keeping or sell it on. I have decided ill sell it on. I have just put a years MOT on it and 6 months tax i have decided to sell it. Its a great car and goes like it should with the work that has been done. Anyone interested please pm me:

    Price: £4650

    Here are some details:
    -1999 S Audi S4 2.7 Bi Turbo
-Just Mot'd so had 12 months MOT and 6 months tax!!!
-H&R Coilover with new top mounts done about 15k miles
-XS Power cat back exhaust with RS4 Gutted Downpipes fitted about 15k miles ago
-RS4 Ported and tig welded manifolds with all new gaskets seals etc fitted around 15k miles ago
    -RS4 Intercoolers professionally installed
-KO3/KO4 Turbo Dynamics Hybrid Turbos with around 15k miles on them
    -BMC Panel filter
-New MAF Fitted in June 10
-New spark plugs and coil fitted in June 10
-New 5 Bar fpr Mapped by MRC tuning and rolling roaded 380PS and 572NM of torque
-Front track rods done by qst 10k miles ago with 4 wheel alignment.
-New front arms just fitted for the MOT
-New windscreen fitted for MOT so no chips or marks
    -Genuine RS4 front grill fitted
    -Cream leather interior
-Leon Cupra R Front splitter fitted
    -Tinted windows

All the work has been carried out by Audi secialists mainly MRC and QST two of the best in the business.

Now the bad bits. When i first bought the car i stupidly did not do a full HPI. I did check it via my text check but did not check the mileage. When i first came to sell the car i was reliably informed by a fellow audi enthusiast that he knew the car before and it had been clocked. I then did a full £30 HPI and he was right it had been clocked in 2004 and had 60k miles taken off. This is minimum that has been taken off so could well be more.

I am being completely honest as i do not want people to be put off by this. I must stress that all the work listed above was carried out during my ownership and after the mileage had been altered with no expense spared.

Im selling to either put the money towards my house or i might even try and talk the girlfriend round to getting an RS4.

the price seems right. think the problem is the stigma attached to the car being clocked. what's it on now ? 160k miles ? thats the problem. the car itself looks good. think it would sell no problem at about £3750 - £4000. depends how bad you want rid of it.

i'd buy it. but not with its history. think a lot of other people would be the same.

just my 2p worth. as you asked.

Price seems ok I guess but like mentioned its been clocked and to be honest no matter how nice the car is I wouldn't touch it mate thats just my opinion but if you want a RS4 just keep what you've got same kind of power???

I can see the point it's been clocked. But isn't it the same as buyin a low mileage s2 compared to a high mileage well cared for S2?? This has new turbos suspension all new turbos and exhaust gaskets, top
Mount, front arms, exhaust etc! Surely that better than one that has the genuine mileage displayed but hasn't had that work??

not really. a low mileage car will be what it is. low mileage and desirable. unfortunately, cars with any bad history will always follow them around. you really need to find that one person who'd want a clocked car and was planning on keeping it because when the time came to pass it on, it will be another struggle to get rid of it then.
a garage / trade will not touch it. i'd be prepared to take a hit on it. sell it cheap. and to be fair, there are plenty of really nice standard ones out there at the moment for £4k or less. they don't have the mods on them but i'd prefer to buy them without and do them myself. a lot of people don't like buying heavily modified cars. they'd sooner do the mods.
if it's cheap, it will sell. if not, it will hang about. depends how much money you need out of it.

The fact is has been clocked doesn't bother me personally if the car is good, however I know it would be a pita if I needed to sell it in the future. And you can get unlocked k04'd cars for that money, so I would buy one of them instead. Again the heavily modded market is niche, even more so for a car with that kind of history.

If I was looking to buy one to keep/run into the ground and yours was cheap enough I would buy it, but not otherwise.

i'd take the offer on the table. looking at previous posts, it looks like you been trying to sell it since June 2011 so i'd get shut of it.

its a piece of metal at the end of the day. and to be honest, with rising costs of petrol / insurance its not a bad price.

spend it on the house. you'll get a nice couch for that price !!!

Steve think about it 3700 to 4000 = 300 quid difference to start again clean slate. let it go and don't buy it back again.
