I'm probably going to look into selling my 1996 S2 coupe in the next few weeks.

She's a 1996 ABY Coupe in Kingfisher/Pelican blue (one of the 'Lifestyle' colours) with beige leather. She has 130k, and alot of service history (I don't think it's all there, but most of it is). She has a Homefroed ecu, stainless exhaust and a Porsche 996 caliper and A8 disc front brake upgrade. The current wheels are 17" OZ Vela with decent brand tyres, and I've got a full set of 17" RH ZW1 wheels with branded tyres.
It's generally a very straight example, it has a little bubbling under one of the rear windows, a little crazing on the rear bumper, a few minor marks on the body and a tiny bit of paint missing on the roof (approx 1cm square) I'm being critical as I prefer an honest sale, but any of the above are in keeping with her age, and she's a good solid car.
The rubber side mouldings (lower) are not in the greatest shape, though I've got a full set of brand new replacements on order. She's quite a rare car as she is a NON sunroof shell.
The interior is generally in good order. When I bought it, the std cream carpet was filthy, so I've replaced this with a very good black carpet, and treated her to new floor mats. She also benefits from a Clarion head unit, which matches the look and illumination of the dash very well. Its got a built in phone kit and USB port. I've fitted the car with a battery cutoff, next to the hand brake as the old battery was duff. I fitted a new battery earlier this year, but the cutoff is still quite useful if it's not used often. the leather is in keeping with its age, though I have a full 'Furniture clinic' colouring and cleaning kit worth over £300 and a full spare grey leather interior (including door and rear cards).
I've also got a pop out rear window kit that needs fitting, the wiring has been put under the carpet, so it needs connecting and then the windows fitting.
She's just failed her MOT, on Front brake discs, rear brake flexes and wiper blades. It had an advisory for the rear discs too. I've got all of the new replacement parts here now, inc the rear discs. She'll have a fresh MOT for her sale.
I'll get some more pictures together when I do a proper advert, and give more detail on the service history etc.
I'm looking for £5000.00 for the car and all of the above - and I will consider a PX or swap with something more economical.
To summarise, The extras include:
- Porsche 996 brake upgrade - original calipers also included.
- RH ZW1 17" wheels - in need of a refurb
- full spare grey leather interior and matching door and rear cards
- Furniture clinic restoration and cleaning kit for the std cream leather
- pop out rear window kit .
That little lot is easily worth £2k second hand, so this is potentially a very cheap way into late ABY coupe ownership.
I will consider selling the car without the above bits, but would prefer it to all go to a good home with the car, so that the car receives the care it deserves.
I will consider offers, but please don't be insuting, you will not get a response.
