Hi guys, wanting to take some offers on this as I can't find a decent price sub frame i need so its running out of MOT...i was only going to sell the car after MOT anyway so will see if I can sell it before putting more money in just to sell it again.
1992 black audi coupe B3 2.8 V6 quattro. Milage approx 160k. engine all seems good noise comming from fan belt tensioner...I have a new one was going to fit will include with it.
Needed for MOT;
front bush - Supplied with car is full set of x 4 powerflex front bushes new in the packet.
N/S/F ball joint - supplied with the car brand new in packet.
Rear sub frame is screwed...very bad condition...it is the type with anti roll bar so needs to be from an S2 or a V6 with an anti roll bar otherwise the turrets for connecting the rear anti track rod ends is in the wrong place.
Front pads low - (these have lasted over 6 years so you can immagine I don't do many miles) - I have a brand new set of pads supplied with the car in the box(mintex)
Other -
Bad: wheel bareing obviously going...not bad enough to determine which one yet...i had a guess 6 weeks ago and replaces N/S/F...this wasn't the one...always sensible just to keep checking for rubbling until you find the right one then replace it not guess!!
Bodywork - reasonably good couple of scratches and stone chips, to be exact there is a scratch at the bottom of passenger door about 7" long and thin....on the bonnet there is a couple of 2-3" long tooth marks where a flipping horse bit it!!...the rear arch on N/S has obv had a scuff by previous owner...SLIGHT deformation you cant really notice it though...rear bumber has a patch of paint comming off suspect been resprayed in past...few stone chips on bonnet and drivers door near the edge but really this is all being very detailed its not bad!!...but I don't want someone turning up saying there is a stone chip there I don't want it! I can supply pictures!
Good:
Loads of parts and money spent on it. It has a full SS longlife exhaust system(warranty can be trasfered over for a fee at your local longlife exhaust centre) from manifold to back box including x 2 decat down pipes(1992 J reg so legal and passes MOT!).
Front shocks replaced last year.
replaced rotted rear light bulb holders they work nicely again now.
replaced fuel pump not long ago.
replaced power steering pump because old one had a leak.
rocker cover gaskets replaced recently.
2 x half leather front seats in quite good condition I put in earlier in year.
new pads and discs on the back couple of months ago.
can't think of anything else and I have probably written too much but am trying to be honest...tax till end of Jan BUT MOT RUNS OUT 30TH NOVEMBER THIS YEAR I am seeing if someone will buy it before I stick it on ebay or try to fix it up with even more money!
