Just had an engine rebuild, refurbed hybrid turbo. Countless upgrades such as up rated front brakes, dianlyx inlet manifold (warped and reskimmed during rebuild so now bedded in and flat), dialynx bits all over. Poly bushed, uprated hybrid turbo, putting out around 300bhp with upgrades. Most mechanicals replaced in the 5 years I've owned it!!

1987 WR quattro, 133k.

Originally pearl white but resprayed bentley pearl white by a bentley mastertech that owned it. Grey leather interior, green digi dash, sunroof. Had various upgrades prior to my ownership including full dialynx treatment (exhaust manifold, ported & polished head, uprated hybrid turbo, ECU work & uprated front calipers and discs and remote central locking with cat 1 alarm).

Since I've had it it's had the following major bits of work. Full engine rebuild, turbo rebuilt, polybushed all round, shocks and springs returned to stock - all new. Brand new rear calipers discs and pads, fully undersealed, pretty much every mechanical bit has been replaced or renewed.

That's a blast from the past for me. I am sure that is the car I owned briefly a long time ago. I think it was back in the mid nineties.

Traded in an Audi 90 against it with a garage near Stockport. I was a bit naïve in car trading at the time and took the car without any paperwork other than an invoice from the garage. Bloke said if there were any issues with getting the log book, or the full service history, he would give me my money back. After three months I went for the money back option. Unfortunately, I said I was naïve, I took the bouncy bouncy cheque. Chased payment for a while and then got a debt collector involved. He got most of the money back, but was still holding onto it when he went bust, under suspicious circumstances. Not a good ending.

Car was standard when I had it. Had no idea what happened to it after I had it.
