96 URS6 Avant

Due to family circumstances I have to sell my S6 avant. I've only had the car for about 6 months and will be very sad to see it go. Spec is:

Manual Gearbox
178k miles
MOT to Mid August
Tax up end of May
Full cream leather interior
Climate control
Heated seats
4 good tyres

Plus all usual S6 spec like EW, EM etc.

From I bought it I have done the front top mounts with Febi parts, replaced the front discs with Brembo discs, front pads replaced with Mintex, sorted out the rear bootlid wiring loom (wiper\brake lights work perfect now).

I bought it off my mate who replaced the full timing belt kit, I think this was about 18 months back, I'd need to check. Clutch has also been done, not sure when tho, but pedal feels good, not high or anything. I can check with my mate.

Car has usual bodywork scuffs etc with the odd bit of laquer peel. Worst bit of bodywork is at the RNS arch low down behind the door, there is paint flaking here wich will need attention. The rest of the car is as you'd expect for an 18 year old car, it is presentable enough, not mint!

Definetly not too cheap mate,one on ebay with no mot sold for 1500 the other day,I dare say the Irish sea may put a fair few off though.How much is it to get it over to england?

I think price is fair, considering all the work that's gone into it. It is an S6 at the end of a day. Good luck with the sale.

I'd say it would cost about £200 getting it back to England. There was once a time when the cars I was selling were worth more in N. Ireland than they were in England. Every time we would be over we'd bring something back to sell.

Car is on ebay as a classified ad now and a local free ads site. I'd like it to go to an enthusiast, but It needs to go so I can't be fussy

Just had a thought. I'm heading to Cornwall in 4 weeks time for a family holiday so I could in theory bring the car over and meet up along the way if the buyer covered expenses.

Car is now sold to a local guy, dont think he's on here. He's had a few UR's and an S6 before so he's a bit of an enthusiast too. I'm going to miss it tho.
