Ok, here goes...
For sale is my Brilliant Black 1990 G Reg Audi Coupe Quattro which has been carefully converted to S2 ABY specification using the following components (car and engine have approx 140k on):
Engine:
Transmission and Chassis:
Interior:
Exterior:
2 Sets of wheels available:
Electrical:
There’s nothing this car really needs for and I wouldn’t hesitate to jump in it after it standing for 3 weeks and drive all the way to the nurburgring for a weekend, it’s a truly dependable car that feels very together, tight and sorted when driven. It relishes embarrassing more expensive machinery!
Bad bits:
Ive owned this car for 8 years or more, and ive loved every moment of driving, fixing, modifying, servicing and owning this car. I’ll be sad to see it go, but I feel now is the time!
As a side note many of the donor parts came from an accident damaged 1994 avant owned by a good friend of mine, it was known to be an excellent unmodified example before the accident and i have much of the history from this car also.
Price, the car is unique and so difficult to price. It owes me well over £12k excluding maintenance and serviceable costs.
But I know the second hand value of the parts in this car, so I want to price it a fair bit less than the sum of is breaking value so that someone can save me from breaking it and can have the peace of mind that in the future they could break it and recoup their money.
£4500 firm REDUCED
The car will remain for sale until sold or the point where my garage is finished (September) and I can then afford the space to break it. Until then i will continue to maintain and enjoy!
Thanks for reading (if you got this far)

Bad bits:
- Paintwork isn’t in very good condition but the cars body is very solid and straight no filler anywhere, I’d be a perfect candidate for a re-spray if you were bothered.
- Over the last couple of weeks ive noticed a small coolant leak when parked up, but I intend to look at this and sort it.
- I have a feeling the vacuum servo needs replacing soon due to the fact the brake assist isn’t as strong as it used to be.
