cars are valued at whatever someone wishes to pay, especially classics like these, audi s2's are priceless in a way, as they have so much character and personality just for a few grand!

sorry im just passionate about my s2's and if i see one in a state it still puts a smile on my face cuz i know what that car is capable of!

its only a matter of time before they will be worth £10k+ as the rarity is going up. so when a cheap one as this comes up grab and keep it!

I know some people that would pay good money on this car purely for the rare yellow.

It's about time S2 prices increase. It is because there is less now to get broken.

And everyone knows the sum of the parts in pieces will raise at least £3000 to £4000

So why should they not be worth at least £3000 in one piece for a scruffy one.

With relation to absolute Mint S2's like Ed's for example I see no reason why this should not command at least £10k for such a fine example.

And it's only going for high money because of what it is the Birmingham NEC show car! If it's genuine, show cars can sell for much more than what is considered normal for obvious reasons.This extremely rare yellow plus Audis show car has attracted huge interest on this forum.No wonder why the bids are going up much more than is usual. Who knows what will happen but could it end up being null and void if as some of the comments in this thread are true only to be re advertised as is so often the case.

Once done this car will probably fetch double what a top condition ABY would be worth.

Didn't realise auction had finished. £2665 was a good price to buy it for to whoever won it.

I have to disagree its gona for that as its worth that in parts all day long. Showcar or not its not a showcar at the moment. Its not as if we see an s2 going for 1500 anymore! As you said worth double when ready. Top condition aby are goin triple near the 10k mark.

I would bought that its just too far for me, grrr!
