Yeah, be careful with that. Decent ebay sellers can be robbed quite easily. I would put it on a classified advert. Same coverage but no fees to pay if/when it sells.

I thought about that but the most fees are £30 so same as classified was thinking more people get interested. If it looks like it won't get what I want I will cancel the auction and keep it. I know what your saying about ebay though. Would much rather it stayed with a forum member. Just had a bloke look at it tonight who saw it on here. Genuine nice guy who's sleeping on it.

I think you will do better on there than here. As soon as i put audi items on ebay they go quickly with no messing. Just buy it now, they pay, i post, simples!

Put it on auction with 99p start. Have had some interest asking about buy it now. It's reached £3200 within an hour

There you go.This is a trend i have seen over the last 2-3 years where desirable items
race up quickly.Basically it bidders attempts to stop the item be snapped up by those who do the "how much for a buy it now" malarkey. That malarkey is always in the questioners interest not yours usually .Lets hope it gets higher and then we will see what an S2 avant is worth on the open market as opposed to all the hyped up speculation you see on the forum.What will likely happen now is an auction usually turns the wick up or twists the arm of serious buyers and you may be removing it because someone has been to view it and you agree a price.Then all the other bidders start to It's not only bidders who ruin ebay it's sellers too. I just checked it £4,100 and doing very well. I think the colour is doing it for you Crystal Silver,the wheels and the really clear photos plus it looks a good area,all these points will lead to a success i think.

^Exactly. A couple of years ago Avants went for so much less than Coupes. Seems theres not much in it now for a good example.
