2001 Facelift E39 M5

One of my pals had one of those and it's a fair bit faster than the E39 top end, however it seemed that you had to rev it to get the power. The E39 is opposite, no need to rev high to get the power as the torque comes in early making it effortless to drive. The build quality in the E39 is better too, it's a nice place to be.

yes its all top end, goes mad between 6 and 8k, below that its just average, and so u end up having to thrash it to make it properly quick, and by that time your doing well into 3 figures all the time

awesome on an autobahn though, the pulling power above 100mph is crazy-relentless
