selling my dragon green VR6 Golf,
waiting for V5 to turn up from DVLA, should be here early january
TO BE SOLD WITH BRAND NEW, BOXED JOM COILOVERS AND CUPRA R GEARLINKAGE UPGRADE TO ELIMINATE THE SLOP
i bought this in november i think?
picked it up in london, drove to essex, then to newcastle the same day, drove it round newcastle for a few days then back to essex and it not once had any problems besides a wheel bearing and tracking i had fixed.
VERY quick car, sounds the **** and does 36mpg on a run belive it or not.
BAD BITS first (making the car worse than it really is)
car origionally had heated leather i think as all the wiring and switches are still in place,
drivers seat worn but nice to sit in.
paintwork is badly scratched/keyed down both sides
dent in tailgate
scratches on most pannels
no real rot anywhere on the car
one rust scab on one rear door
badly painted bumpers
damaged wiper scuttle pannel
silly washer jets fitted (but work)
drivers front, drivers rear windows dont work
passenger front works no problem
passenger rear is noisy/rough but works ok
non standard gearknob/gaitor
sloppy gear linkage
been jacked up in wrong place and damaged/bent floor?!
nothing in the boot except origional paint lol
Right onto the best bits
Ive just serviced it with Venguine VAG:
oil, air, fuel filters and 5w30 low ash oil (with 5l also included in the sale)
New thermostat housing complete (with full coolant fluch and 50/50 Quantum VAG coolant mix, also 5l to go with car as a spare)
New Coilpack
New Cam sensor
New wiper blades x3 Genuine VAG/Bosch)
Drilled and grooved discs all round, pads must be good quality as it stops VERY well
New rear wheel bearings
New Cat back exhaust
Also has:
BBS Solitude wheels painted black
4x new tyres, one has more wear than others due to tracking being out when i bought it.......
also had Hunter 4 wheel geometry setup (with sheets)
Stainless backbox, sounds amazing, the VR6 is 100% in the top 5 engines of all time!
thats it really,
£600 for quick sale WITH the new boxed coilovers and Gear Linkage upgrade bits i have for it, and it will be an amazing car!!
Will get some pictures of the car over the next couple of days and report back
ive put about 2000 miles on the car so far and love it, BUT just bought another URS4 so............. bye Golf lol
i am going to/from newcastle again over christmas with my 3yr old so if anyone wants a look on christmas day/ new years day on my travels let me know, you will agree its an amazing car besides the scratches she sadly has
