Not a bad price if it has service history to back up the high mileage.
Good to see it has no "deflects"

Can't quite agree the above comment, particularly with that RHS taillight and no ellipsoids. (I appreciate it is a 3b and it's current headlights are correct for a 3b).

Ah yes your quite right! Did not spot that. And now under further inspection the drivers side door rubber looks as though it's coming away and drivers seat looks rather worn.
So ok, maybe it is a little overpriced as it goes.

its done 191k and is a 1991, to be fair, its going to have areas of wear like seat bolsters I can't see any issue with the H4 headlamps, they are a) fitted as per model year and b) can be made to work very effectively if you wire and relay them....or fit later H1's with xenons of which someone will then turn up and say its not original #rockandhardplace

If i wanted a car, i'd be fair happier replacing some trim and aged rubber than more involved and potentially costly stuff and the price is only a point to start discussions from. I do worry a bit about us picking away adverts for these cars sometimes. I am quite happy to see our car value increase and likely someone will happily pay that amount for one if it ticks THEIR boxes I have to say a lot of the time, some well taken photos can be the bit tht easily distinguishes a good car from a good car shown badly...

It looks in generally good nick for a 24 (ish) year old car to me. If nothing else it hasn't been pricked about with so is probably a genuinely 'honest' car

Other than that an honest looking 20 odd year old car.

I have to admit to a bias against 3B cars compared to ABY engined coupes. It is just my personal bias, be it right or wrong.

Early 3B's will be worth more than ABYs eventually anyway.

This S2 is owned by an old guy called Chris. I used to see this car regularly at qOC meets/events. Not seen the car or Chris for about five years, though. I am impressed that he still has it, as he must be pushing 70 years old now.

A pic of the S2 from 2005 on a qOC trip in North Wales. My old black 90 quattro Sport 20V is next to it.

Another pic of the S2 again back in 2005 at a qOC meet. This time my red 90 quattro Sport 20V is in the pic.
