That's mental money for an 80, he'd be lucky to get half that, immaculate or not! I didn't pay much more for mine with an AAN in it and about a quarter for any of the 80/90/Coupes I've bought in the past (all with better engines)!
2,0 ABK engine is ****** - I had one years ago, never ever again....
This is not an ABK, it's ABT, mono-injected. And Digifant controlled ABK is a nice little runner. I have it on my second car, very simple and reliable engine. I can repair it myself without any special tools.
nope... mine was not... and ***** gas response in stop and go.... engine died at 210.000km...
You have really "want" to destroy that engine to kill it. It's very robust. And throttle response is fantastic on it. Car has to be maintained, you can say "**** this **** that" at any engine which has not seen good hands. My ABK is 320000+ km already and running strong. Was at MOT recently and got 0.7% CO exhaust with straight pipe on 1992 car.
