As much as it pains me to do this my S2 Avant is now up for sale. Some of you may have seen on some of the threads I've posted on that I am trying to emigrate to New Zealand and I have accepted that I must sell the S2 to make as much funds available.
Asking price is £3,700
I've owned it since May 2013 and at that time it had two modifications: Koni dampers and decatted exhaust. The cats have since been replaced as for this year's MOT it was simply causing too much hassle. A few minor, non-mechanical changes I've made are the addition of a Sony DAB/CD/USB stereo, Ellipsoid headlamps, mesh radiator grille (not an RS2 type), an Audi Sport steering wheel (original is still in my possession should the new owner prefer) and MKIII VW Golf Recaro seats retrimmed in quattro script cloth.
After cycling through about a billion different wheels it is currently on 16" Avuses. The tyres are still OK, nothing at all came up as an advisory on the MOT in August. I recently replaced the cam position sensor as that was preventing the engine starting when hot and a few weeks of daily use has confirmed that that was the issue. One issue I am in need of sorting is replacing the pipe from inlet manifold back to the ECU - it came off due to the rubber deteriorating and what's left of that pipe is too short.
I won't add any bull**** as we all know about these cars on here and know what to expect. Anything else anyone wants to know just ask and I'll fill in the blanks
