Hi all,
For sale is my tuned 6 speed manual Audi S6 saloon.
Amethyst grey
135,000 miles. Good amount of history (owned by some other members on here).
Whilst in my tenure:
All work carried out by Pete Berry from White Cottage Autos - inc the engine rebuilt. MRC even remarked hiw good the job was.
Engine specs:
Uprated rods,
Balanced bottom end,
Lightweight flywheel
Sachs organic clutch (nice normal-esque feel to it). But can handle the immense torque.
Rebuilt head (new valve guides and stems).
GT3071R,
FMIC,
Bosch fuel pump,
Black silicon hoses.
Live remap by Minhea from MRC Autos,
3 bar map sensor.
Catch can
3" turbo back exhaust (inc sports cat). The Magnaflow box was too loud, so I had Hayward and Scott custom make a rear box.
RS2 ex manifold,
AEM air filter
1.8t coil packs - only 3k miles on.
New battery.
Suspension:
Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks
Brakes:
Ebc Yellowstuff front and Redstuff rear. No fading going down the Stelvio pass!
Interior:
Very clean black leather seats with carbon fibre dash inserts
I have receipts in excess of 12k for parts alone (these things aren't cheap to tune properly!).
Dynosheet showing 413hp and 398ft-Ibs of torque. She really is very fast indeed - the map would not have been possible withhout the uprated rods.
Now, I emmigrated back in early 2010, so the car was stored at a friend's house. The car was started periodically just to keep things in check, and new petrol (98 octane) was added. So mechanically shes very sound.
However, being outside has caused the paint work and laquer to peel on most panels (so really a respray would be needed). Because of this, I was going to break her for parts, but decided I'd MOT it to see if there was anything majorly wrong. Well, after a few minor parts she passed!! Tyres being an advisory.
So the new owner has the option to either tax and drive as is, or break for parts.
I'm asking £3450, but am open to offers. I'm liquidising assets (Smart Roadster also for sale) due to a new business venture.
I'm currently in London, the car is in Bournemouth. I'll upload pictures asap.
