After much thought and deliberation I am now selling one of the loves of my collection.
I have owned the car for nearly 5 years and have made the car what it is today.
When I bought the car it had been caught in a hailstorm and had some dints in the bonnet, so this was replaced. The wings also had a few marks in them, again replaced. The front and rear bumpers were also replaced to make the car as new. There was no rust but a few marks here and there so I had Greg at Southam Bodies strip the car, including windows out, to metal and was painted to the same colour but to a standard beyond new. Greg's work is well known and documented.
The car was also serviced, with new suspension shocks and springs, new brakes (cal and disc) all around with new fluids. I also found NOS Avus wheels that have done 100 miles with new tyres and centre caps.
The car was owned for the first 6 months by Audi in Munich, then by the previous owner to me. She was in Interpol and subsequently registered the car in Germany, London then France where I bought it. The history file is 2" thick and as you will imagine, had everything as it needed it, when it needed it.
The car is loaded, sunroof, multi CD, heated leather, phone, blinds and all the other usual extras. It also has a factory tow bar that sits in the boot when not being used.
The car deserves to be seen, as it is as new and obviously shows that it is dry stored and loved. I don't have the time or ability to drive or spend the time I used to with these cars anymore so it should be with someone who wants to use it.
It is a 4200cc, 6speed manual, black with black leather. HPI clear and full history, which includes TUV certificate form 3 years ago and this last year, so can be registered in Germany as it is. Has 12 months MOT here too.
Currently it is back in Germany, but I am happy to bring it back to the UK for viewing on a deposit, based on the description. Alternatively I am happy to collect from Koln or Dusseldorf airport and assist with you taking it away from there.
