Been watching too....front and rear bumpers need paint, interior looks good though, wheels......ok?! .....mileage, not low not super high.....can you say what "average" mileage should be on a 20 year old car???
........then there's the engine, can't comment as I've never driven one but one things for sure, it won't sound like a 5-pot?!
No mention if the AC works....I think not.

Got to be a good thing that it's hopefully going to make a good price?

This looks like a beautiful and well looked after example! It wouldn't surprise me if it hit 3,5k ;-) or more :$

Does look a nice one. Can't be more than a handful left now. Shame they are slow!

They're more fun to drive than standard 5pot.

I've been watching too, just glad I am finally on the ball, nt usually been finding things till they are already sold. It does look like a nice car but I am surprised by the way it's going, mainly up!

Well I have owned both, and I would take a 5pot everyday of the week, but it's all subjective I guess.

So have I. I guess it's turbo lag, but saying that I take my S4 over V6 anyday

Ive had both NA variants of the B3 cq and the 5cyl is miles better.

That black CQ does look very nice but the engine kills it for me. I would say that my 10v 5cyl CQ had the best soundtrack of any car ive owned in my life. It was the most beautiful purr with the slight uneven warble of the bizarre balance of 5 cylinders. Should never have sold the first one i had. It was near mint and never seen it come up for sale again. Was about 13yrs back. Time flies when you are burning fuel.

Glad it sold for good money
Not many left and rarer than an S2. I think its fairly obvious these will slowly increase in value. S2's have gone up so why not the V6CQ ? The enthusiast will know the power of the S2 but for a little cheaper joe blogs can have something that looks almost identical !
If they had made a b4 2.3 quattro coupe it might be a different story but they didn't.

Still miss mine though, but hey ho good memories
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

V6's woeful ,you must have been driving a sick one! I've had 2.6 80 estate for 15 years still do and is a seriously quick cultured smooth machine. My 90 7A was seriously woeful like they ALL ARE below 3,500rpm's otherwise known as GUTLESS.They only come alive above 3,500 and in everyday driving around city driving pretty useless.

Agree with Mark. Loved driving my 2.6, it was amazing at any speed without draining your wallet.

To give the V6 its due, 0-30 they're fantastic, and then the wheezy bags of crap have just got nothing, they've ran out of puff by 3000 revs

Well don't know what V6 you drove, but mine was brilliant all the way through rev-range. If I think about it, it was best to drive above 3000.
