The plus spec also includes black interior head lining together with black plastic covers on the A, B, C, and D pillars, and no 'chrome' rings around the dash clocks.

i.e. black optics trim or RS2 internal spec, - Black interior furnishing, as mentioned, including the internal door triggers.

The 'plus' spec is a worthwhile feature to have on the inside if a UrS6 as is the black 'chrome' on the outside trim of the car.

The S6 Plus only came with the 4.2 engine, having an upgrade from 290 to 326 hp as the main difference. This is not a Plus model.

It's been said a million times chaps! It's a UK Plus Speck car having all the exterior and interior trim bits of the Plus model (4.2 V8) i.e.; no chrome, instead all the exterior black trim bits inner door triggers and the Plus 17 X 8 wheels but using the 2.2 I5 Turbo! V8 sadly never came to UK.

It looks like a standard S6 run out model to me.

Dodgy panel gap on the offside front corner area (bonnet & bumper) and offside rear quarter appears different colour. If that doesn't concern you then it could still be a bargain if the price is right. I suspect it will still make strong money just because of what it is, but I think there are better examples out there.

Afraid not,all UK cars are badged as S6, just that for model year 96 / 97 they adopted the S6 plus "optics" from the European V8 version. All UK S6 cars look the same as the V8 euro Plus speck bar the front and rear badges until you look under the bonnet. Some will say, no they don't because the dash dials were blue,and our S6 dials are white/light grey, not quite true as the V8 plus speck could be ordered with blue, light grey or anthracite dash/dials.
