Mr shifter perhaps is a very busy man ,thats why he didnt reply me for the last week. i didnt get any info if my shifter is shipped etc.i am not saying anything negative about him but i am saying you have to have serious patience to work with Mr Hoffman.

my order was given on 10-12-2003
western union delivery was on :15-12-2003
today is:24-12-2003

i have no idea about what is going on with my stuff.

I will contact Richard personally and see what is going on.

I took my own time to set this up as folks here on the list seemed interested. I have known Richard for several years as a member of a U.S. based 20 valve mailing list. I have spoken with hime several times over the years.
I know Richard is a "good egg" and you will definately get your kit. As to the response time, perhaps that should be addressed.
I'll contact him tomorrow, in the mean time have a good holiday.

I spoke to Richard last night about your problem Timucin.

Apparently he has it set up to take payment types that come directly to his house or electronically. You used Western Union which requires him to pick it up at the Post Office. This is a time consuming task during the month of December and he has not had or taken the time to do that as of yet.

As far as an update, sounds like he could have given you an update sometime after he explained this. I would expect that your kit will be shipped quite soon since after today you will be at least be able to get into the Post Office.

6-Speed Info

Richard had considered making up the 6 speed plates needed for the reverse lockout but it proved to not be cost effective.

The plates would have to be purchased then hand modified at a relatively high expense. To control the price of the kit plus to get the kits shipped in a timely manner, he has decided to have the individual do the 6 speed reverse lock-out mod.
