3B Samco problem

Hi all

Is there any news about the Batch of Samco hoses?

Boost leaks are driving me mad

Yes - I received the shipment from Samco today...

A modified 3B MAF hose is now en route to me. It will then be used to remodel the offending tool. Another sample will be used as test fit - if thats all OK then the 3B MAF hoses can be made in volume for the quantity required.

Revised 3B MAF hose arrived this week... Its now in the post to our resident trial fitter. Hope to hear how that goes over the weekend. If its good news then there should be replacements available for 3B kit buyers in approx three weeks.

Yeah......AndyP has fitted the hose and it was a lot better......Dump valve end of the hose is now SPOT ON I believe.....and the hose does fit ok though the MAF end could do with being 10mm longer as it was a bit of a tight fit to attach it to the MAF apparently...though it went on with a little persuasion

(pushing the airbox when fitting it)

I'm thinking it will not be too big a job for Samco to increasse this length slightly??

Then it should be totally perfect

Will there be another groop buy for 3b boost hoses,if so when,if not where can I buy a set, or is it O.M.E, I desperatley need a new maf hose, and just need to no which way to travel. Tried ebay and on here ,no luck, so would appre'ciate some help.

Yes there will be more hoses being made... I'm going crazy at work recently so free time is somewhat in short supply. Watch this space.

Oh forgot to say that I'm promised fourteen replacement 3B MAF hoses on August 15th ! That gives me enough spares for those who got 3B kits in batches 2 & 3.

I've had to pay for some of these which is a pain so I only have four available to those users in the very 1st group purchase who had unsolvable fitment issues. I have two of those set aside already which leaves another two for anyone from the 1st batch who is desperate for a better fit. Beyond those, I'm afraid that extra charges may apply for replacements.

I'm going to wait until these 3B MAF replacements are done and dusted before ordering the next batch of any hoses... So watch this space !
