    002 is for passenger cars
    006 is max stress

about nos: i dont have any previous experience on euro engines but i used to finish two bottles a day on a 350 cu.in chevy engine.rings are key factor on nos application

No, no gapless rings for me.

I actually heard opinions going for and against them.
The ones against gapless rings argued they only could give some appreciable gain with extremely high output and boost applications (such as drag racing) but would also not give the same reliability for a high mileage use. So I thought the 1-2 % blow-by reduction might not be worth it in my case.

About nitrous, I don't think you can expect so sensible heat reduction from the use of it. Of course expansion, vaporization and scission of N2O molecules (being all endothermal reactions) absorb heat, but this is conpensated by the heat released by burning the extra fuel. The big deal with NOS is you can keep combustion temps lower compared to a non NOS engine WITH SAME OUTPUT.
