Pembo - You could try running the 26mm FARB at the rear. In order to make it work you need to swap the rear struts round. Pretty sure that Audiman, Doug and MarkH have done this already. Makes for a *much* stiffer rear-end - maybe too stiff for you actually if you are mostly running in forests and gravel.

The Whiteline RARB would look standard if it was painted black... But if you can get away with adjustable coil-overs in your class then I don't think any scrutineer is going to get upset over a silver RARB.

And me, although mine's 24mm with a OE 26mm front. I did quite a length thread about it... here. Massive difference to handling and turn-in on a standard car. MarkH is yet to test his setup (26mm with RS2 front, bilstein dampers and OEM springs) but it's the same as ARB setup as Tom and he though it to be a little much with his power level!

Doug was running a 7A FARB with some home-made drop links using parts from a Saxo and rose-jonts, not sure what's on there now but his original setup is rediculously stiff, similar to RS2 FARB on the rear!

There are 22mm, 24mm, 25mm, 26mm and RS2 items available to tune both the front and rear so I can't see stiffness being an issue! All are available from your friendly locfal Audi breaker for 1/2 of FA

I'm looking at running front springs on the rear too but hoping that the ride-height isn't too silly with the reduced weight...

I would suggest running adjustable, rose-jointed drop links and having the struts reinforced to prevent the lugs breaking off under the much higher loads.

It would be good if there is a car available for them

Hey guys, I'm a bit late getting on this thread but Paul PM'd me and I'd love to help out if I can...

I'm running RS2 FARB and Whiteline RARB on max setting with stock springs, Konis dialled up slightly, all alu subframe bushes and QRS topmounts on 18"x8.5's

I can easily get the car to oversteer under boost cornering ...but in general this set up is ideal for day to day and quite a bit more, as you all know the stock S2 set up is a complete bag of ***** !!

Whiteline are almost within earshot of me and I'd be (reluctantly !) willing to let them use my baby beast for testing.

Please fill me in on precisely what it is you require or need me to convey and I can pop down there and kickstart the process

How easy would it be to change to one of these set ups? and would I notice a difference?

Hey Coolhand thanks for stepping up. I think the consensus stands at having a bar which can be adjusted with the following settings 's2+, rs2, rs2+ setup'

If everyone interested can agree with this pretty much this is all you need to convey to Whiteline when you pop in to discuss what we are after.

Corey@quattronics mentioned he had already sent Whiteline a bar for measurements so I think he maybe the guy to take over the organizing and communications between Whiteline and you Coolhand

I think Corey driving this is the right thing as he has had most of the dialog with Whiteline so far and knows what was supplied as a template.

For my tuppence worth - its perfect that Luc's car already has the RS2 FARB - the stiffness of that should correspond to a 'medium' setting on the Whiteline adjustable FARB... and it should be easy to feel it less and more stiff on 'mild' and 'wild' settings respectively.

Thanks to Luc for doing this... Its what I love the most about this forum - people genuinely doing stuff to help others. Its class - where else would you get it !

Next time I'm in Sydney I'll feed Luc lots of his favourite beer

                    Paul

PS - If Luc still has the original S2 FARB it would be useful to bring that along for comparison with Whiteline FARB on mild setting.
