    Till now we are:

    Jamo 1 Set
Flat on my back 1 Set
    Billman 1 Set
    Caterpillar 2-3 sets
    Prosty maybe

    Till now 5-6 sets.

I believe that is going to take place. Slowly we are gathering the people needed. I am going to find out how much the imports taxes in Germany are.

What's the problem with CP sending them to the 'designated' addresses? Couldn't we all pay into an account at CP and then they make them and send them on?

Seems like a lot of hard work for some poor forum member? You're a star.

Must be an easier way, or just tell me to ars... off, cos i've never tried organising a GB before.

To send them to individual addresses means they have to individually invoice the items.

If they do this you can't get them at GB price.

Jamo/Billman can you post the contact info for CP ?

Do you mind if I contact them personally regarding 'my possible set'?

I just can't see myself paying for the Pistons that will ship to the UK and then back to the US unless this GB is focused on European buyers only and in that case I wouldn't want to jeopardize the GB

I am located in the states, and need a set of pistons. Which price list are we going with, and also, is that pre or post discount?
                Thanks

Inform us please if it is possible for you to participate with shipping in the US directly.

Problem is i have asked him explicit about shipping and he said:

I cannot ship to multiple addresses on an order. Technically were do not allow group buys, if someone you know has a shop it would probably be cheaper too for everybody if they were shipped to somewhere in Europe, and then shipped to the different addresses.

                  cheers

Is it recommended to do anything of the extras, like coating and so on? how hard is it to get a spare if I crash one of these. I'm soon getting money for this so I'm in. How much spec is the normal piston pin for?

Could do with a FAQ secion on the CP website?

Or can we put together a list of questions relating to the engine spec each of us is putting together to get some recommendations from CP eg. daily driver, some track/sprint use, dedicated track car and power levels etc.

The options look good but we need to know which is most suitable, Jamo how did you come by your spec?

My specs are derived from information by Doug @ MRC JE group, Pisobiker & Mark Halligan being the biggest contributor Also asked Team bodge aka Audiman.

Interestingly only Pisobiker had coated pistons, Mark & Audiman run them uncoated.

Coatings are a nice thing to have but not really required.

I would suggest you all read up and decide what spec you want.

Start with the JE group buy thread, and have a look at Mark Halligans engine build thread.
