As per the thread over on the quattroforum there is a possibility to get the 9J 15" Ronal wheels re-manufactured initial costings are looking at about £120 per rim making a set of 5 £600. They need a minimum order quantity of 100 to 150 wheels. The more that is ordered reflects in the price. So if your interested either put your name down here or on the quattro forum thread to see if we can get this one off the ground...

Here is a couple of quotes from Rick off the quattroforum HTH
1.
The idea is to be a bulk order to get the pricing, most will go direct to trade customers but we wont see them for 8 weeks because of leadtimes, we have had some samples and the quality is first class, we are just checking the tuv certification out to make sure its not fake though!!!
2.
Sorry to steal all your thunder, assumption is a terrible thing this is a respectable UK company thats been involved in wheel manufacture for over 30 years, the foundry moved to slovakia in 2006 for labour cost reasons, the product manufactured has tuv and various other approvals and are members of the welsh automotive manufacturing forum, they also produce some castings for component manufacturers.
Being a natural sceptic I insist on seeing the certification and test process before I make an order.
The lead time is due to production as they manufacture to order and its 4 days to ship the container to uk
3.
Have now received copy of the tuv, bmw and landroverapprovals for the wheels, we have a meeting tomorrow, if theres any serious interest its a minimum order of 100 wheels for specialist production
4.
Ok met with the guys yesterday, they have current approvals as OE Manufacturers for BMW and Range Rover and hav numerous Japanese and european accreditations, however my eagle eys spotted that their TUV and BSI approvals expired in 2008, I a told its a admin issue, ie they sent me the old certs, they have promised to send me the current certs, until thats received I wouldnt place a order.
To manufacture a Ronal 9" they are looking at about £120 per wheel but I have to order a minimum of 150 wheels for the tooling to be viable
So if anyones serious please let me know!
We have an order of VW Transporter van and rangerover 20" wheels pending which we will confirm when the cerification received
I also had a video of their quality control and testing, where wheels are randomley impact, pressure, balance and x rayed
5.
Fisrstly before this goes further I will want the companies current quality certs, and see some further samples, secondly it will only happen if we place a broader order which will depend on the margin.
In respect of payment it would require a decent deposit to discourage cancellation/timewasters, probably done through chamber of commerce escrow facility to protect all payments
6.
Thats better, might bring some reality to the project now!!
Deposits will be required but I just need to take some advice on the safest way to do that, it may be via a chamber of trade escrow account, unless of course everyone just makes a credit card payment that way they would get cardholder protection in the event of any problem.
I will come back on this point!!Comment

seems a very good price to me, maybe an idea to get some Avus MK.1 style in 8x17 ET30 after these

These are 9"s on 215 rubber.
I still expect that cutting the lip or rolling the arches would have to be expected, as some early URQ's rub with 8" ronals84 URQ 20VT
