RS2 door trim strips

Convertible uses different strips. Those aren't RS2 strips.

Ok Rob at the below address is in the business of having parts made up in Poland, it might be a good idea to get in touch with him to get a cost, I dont have samples to give him but you guys may be able to pull something together

took the end trims down to the forming company on thursday, the end pieces are actually polyurathane which was a suprise, anyway going down again on tuesday to sort out a few other niggles then they are going to make the first mold, the abs skin will have mounting points bonded to it so this can then be attached to a hard anodised aluminum extrution,

GT500 (rob) will then paint these and attach them to check for fitment and durabilty, only once i am happy with the product i will then manufacture a batch, pictures of the test strip will be posted on here, last thing i want to do is distribute a product that hasnt be tested and that people arnt going to be 100% happy with.

Testing Timescale?

Good news then. Any idea what timescale you are looking at if things test well as my RS2 is looking a bit sad just now with no lower trims on the front doors!
