Carbon Bonnet

I definitely need a new bonnet. Mine's absolutely covered in stone chips. All these slow cars I try and push out the way seem to spray gravel at me!

There is no problem with bonnet with the high speed-them lads know what they doing. And it will be direct replacement. With all bonnet hooks places and etc. Sample bonnet I need not especialy new-most important things are: no chip marks on it and it should be painted. It helps to make very smooth surface of the mould.

This one is straight from Audi. Never been prepped or painted. Has slight dink at the bottom of the grille mount but it's hidden round the back and could easily be straightened. The skin is perfect on it.

On a tangent, what would a set of Audi rings for the grill look, in carbon fiber. Too hard ($$) to do?

A decent carbon bonnet, with strong catches & lined up (some ive seen have
a gap running up the side of the wing) should be fine without having to be
pinned. And take bumps etc.
My old car, took the bumps & not held down with pins.
IMHO the vents are more jap style, & when i seen the evo one..........
I though OMG!!

Now im thinking cabon , depends on my pennies :mischeif:

Who would seriously be interested in them? need a minimum of 10 and a bonnet to mould from i got ask if the S2forum would be interested in some yesterday and i didn't think there would be serious paying interest as i saw what happened with the carbon rad shrouds.
